National League A (chess) 2011
The 2011 season of the Swiss National League A in chess saw a close race for the title, in the end the gap between first and sixth place was only 3 points. The new Swiss champion was the newly promoted chess club Réti Zürich, ahead of SG Riehen and the defending champion SG Zürich .
In addition to Réti Zurich, the Chess Club Echallans had been promoted from the National League B, but had to relegate them straight away together with Lausanne Le Joueur . For the reported team squads of the participating clubs, see the team squad of the Swiss National League A in Chess 2011 .
