National League A (chess) 2013

The 2013 season of the Swiss National League A in chess took place from March 17th to October 13th. The chess club Réti Zurich and the SG Riehen fought head-to-head for the championship title , which in the end Réti Zurich won. The defending champion Club d'Echecs de Genève had to be content with 6th place. The SC Bodan and Schwarz-Weiss Bern were promoted from the National League B last year . While Bern achieved relegation, Bodan and SV Wollishofen had to relegate directly. The competitions took place on March 17th, April 28th, May 26th, June 22nd and 23rd, September 7th and 8th and October 12th and 13th. The last two rounds were held centrally in Zurich, the previous ones decentrally at the clubs involved.
