National League A (chess) 2018

The National League A 2018 was the top division of the Swiss team championship 2018. The champion was the Lucerne chess club , while the defending champion Schachgesellschaft Winterthur had to be content with fifth place. The Echallens Chess Club and SK St. Gallen were promoted from National League B last year . While Echallens achieved relegation, St. Gallen and SK Mendrisio had to relegate directly.

Game dates

The competitions took place on March 25, April 15 and 29, June 10, July 1, September 8 and 9 and October 27 and 28. The last two rounds were played centrally in Lausanne , the other competitions took place locally at the participating clubs.
