Nauru Athletics Association
The Nauru Athletics Association (NAA), also known as the Nauru Amateur Athletic Association or Athletics Nauru , is the athletics association of the Republic of Nauru . The association headquarters are located in the Civic Center of the Aiwo district ( 0 ° 32 ′ 20.2 ″ S , 166 ° 54 ′ 42.1 ″ E ).
history
The national association was founded in 1967 and joined the World Athletics Federation IAAF in 1968 . He is also a member of the Oceania Athletics Association (OAA) and the Nauru Olympic Committee . Jima Harris was elected association president in January 2004 and was re-elected in January 2007 after his three-year term had expired. After the end of his term in office (2010), Hansome Adumur was elected President of the Nauru Athletics Association, who has since been re-elected several times.
