The third season of US drama series NCIS celebrated its premiere in the US on 20 September 2005 on the transmitter CBS . The final was broadcast on May 16, 2006. In Germany, the season started on March 16, 2006 on Sat.1 and ended on January 7, 2007 with the last episode of the season.
