history

The band was founded in February 1994 under the name Carrion, separated again in August of the same year and re-founded in September 2005 under the name Neglected Fields. The band was founded by Sergey "Destruction" (vocals, electric guitar), Herman (electric guitar), Sergey (electric bass) and Kärlis (drums). The band recorded their first demo Sansara in the spring of 1996 in neighboring Estonia in the Townhall Studio in Tallinn . Session singer Rasa could be heard on this demo. The demo attracted attention from various magazines and was voted demo of the month in Aardschok magazine ( Netherlands ), Extreme magazine ( Germany ), Eternity magazine (Germany) and Vampiria magazine ( Italy ). After the album was released, the band performed in the Baltic States , including at the Death Comes 6 Festival in Vilnius to support the band Therion .

In August 1997 the band entered the Finnish Tico-Tico studio to record their first album called Synthinity . The next album Mephisto Lettonica was recorded in the Abyss Studio under the direction of Tommy Tägegren , Peter Tägtgren's brother . The album was released on Scarlet Records in September 2000. Interviews with the band appeared in 20 leading metal magazines across Europe.
