New concern , also new concern or concern , is part of the municipality of Großschönau in the district of Görlitz . It belongs to the district of Waltersdorf and lies in the district of Waltersdorf.

Neue Sorge is located in the southern part of the district in the Zittau Mountains . The group of houses is located at the northern foot of the Lausche ( 793 m ) in the valley of the Kohlflössel in the Eisgasse. On the southern outskirts, the Sorgewater is dammed in the Sorgeteich. West, the Dreiecker collected ( 673 m s) in the northwest Weberberg ( 711 m nm ) and the Otto Berg ( 520 m ), to the north, the singer height ( 497 m ) and the East of the butter Berg ( 510 m ).

history
An old pass path used to lead along the Kohlflössel from Waltersdorf through the Eisgasse over the Schwarzes Tor mountain saddle to the Kohlhaugrund in Bohemia. It is assumed that there were Kohlstätten with coal-burning huts in the valley . The Sorgewater flowing down from the Lauschehang was dammed up in three small ponds that served as a water reservoir for the mills on the Waltersdorfer Dorfbach .
In 1777, the Zittau council had a new settlement for dwarf weavers built 500 m from Waltersdorf am Kohlflössel near the Sorgeteiche. The settlement initially called Teichdörfel consisted of six houses in the 1780s. At the beginning of the 19th century, the pond village had grown to twelve houses, two of the care ponds were drained. Several sandstone quarries were operated on the listening slopes to the southwest and south; the most famous were the corpse quarry that Heath quarries on Höllenberg and the walls of quarries . The settlement was always parish to Waltersdorf. The Neue Sorge was never independent. The place was part of Waltersdorf until 2003 and was incorporated into Großschönau in 2004.
Place name
In the 18th century the place was called Teichdörfel , in the 19th century the name forms Teichhäuser and Sorge were replaced.

Townscape
The group of houses consists mostly of half- timbered houses . A forest park with a forest stage was created at the Sorgeteich. On the eastern edge of the village, the Hope Valley Lobetal Foundation operates the Lazarus-Haus West care home, the Mungo ski slope is located on the Ottoberg .
