Neuweiler (Buttenwiesen)
Neuweiler is a district of the municipality of Buttenwiesen in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube . The church village is two kilometers northeast of Wortelstetten .
history
Neuweiler is called "Niuwiler" in the 12th century. The place is probably an extension of Allmannshofen . The Kaisheim monastery acquired property in the village in 1248/49 and was given another farm by King Konradin in 1267. The largest property in the village was owned by the Donnsberg rule and later the Hohenreichen rule . The Heilig-Geist-Spital in Augsburg and the patrician family von Imhof owned further properties . Neuweiler came to Bavaria through secularization in 1802 and mediatization in 1806 .

Ecclesiastically Neuweiler belongs to the Catholic parish of St. Georg in Wortelstetten.
