Nieder-Schleidern is a place in the Aar valley . It belongs to the Diemelsee Nature Park and is one of the smaller districts of the district town of Korbach in the North Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg .

history

Nieder-Schleidern was first mentioned in a document in 1313. The half-timbered church was built in 1731.

Territorial reform

On July 1, 1970, until then independent municipality was low-Schlei Dern in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on a voluntary basis in the county seat Korbach incorporated . The municipality of Nieder-Schleidern had a municipal area of 5.45 km².
