Hillershausen is a district of the district town of Korbach in the north Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg , which is located near the border with North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

Hillershausen was first mentioned in 1537. In the past, the village image was mainly shaped by farms. However, this branch is now threatened with extinction. Incorporation

On July 1, 1970, as part of the regional reform in Hesse, the previously independent community of Hillershausen was incorporated into the district town of Korbach on a voluntary basis . The district of the former municipality had an area of ​​2.99 km².
