Lower Saxony state exhibition

The title of Lower Saxony State Exhibition is awarded by the state of Lower Saxony for particularly important exhibition projects. As a rule, the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony assumes the patronage. The Lower Saxony state exhibitions are organized at irregular intervals.

In 2008, for the first time, two exhibitions were entitled State Exhibition. The Braunschweigisches Landesmuseum and the Lower Saxony State Museum in Hanover jointly presented the state exhibition The Schöninger Spears - Man and Hunting 400,000 years ago , the State Museum for Nature and Man in Oldenburg presented the large special exhibition Kaiser Friedrich II World from February 10 to June 15, 2008 and Mediterranean culture .
