The relations between Nigeria and East Timor describe the intergovernmental relationship between Nigeria and East Timor .

history

Nigeria and East Timor established diplomatic relations in 2004.

At the United Nations Mission of Support in East Timor (UNMISET) from 2002 to 2005 and of the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste Nigeria participated (UNMIT) Regulations 2006 to 2012 personnel.

Both states belong to the Movement of Non-Aligned States , the AKP Group and the Group of 77 .

The two states have no diplomatic missions in the other country. The Nigerian ambassador to Jakarta , Indonesia is also accredited for East Timor. The current Nigerian ambassador to East Timor is Hakeem Toyin Balogun .

Entry requirements

East Timorese citizens need a visa to visit Nigeria. Nigerians are issued a tourist visa upon arrival in East Timor.

For 2018, the East Timor Statistics Office does not report any trade relations between Nigeria and East Timor.
