The Gambian-East Timorese relations describe the interstate relationship between the Gambia and East Timor .

history

The Gambia participated with staff in the United Nations Interim Administration for East Timor (UNTAET), the United Nations Assistance Mission in East Timor (UNMISET) and also sent police officers to the United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT). One of the UN helpers in the 1999 independence referendum in East Timor was the Gambian librarian and writer Matilda Johnson .

Both states are members of the Non-Aligned Movement , the 77 Group and the ACP Group .

diplomacy

The two countries do not have any diplomatic missions in the other country.

Entry requirements

East Timorese do not need a visa to enter the Gambia.

economy

The East Timor Statistical Office does not indicate any trade relations between East Timor and Gambia for 2018 .
