The East Timorese-South Sudan relations describe the interstate relationship between East Timor and South Sudan .
history
East Timor and South Sudan established diplomatic relations on October 13, 2011. South Sudan is also a member of the g7 + countries , in which East Timor plays a leading role. Both states belong to the group of 77 .
Both states were given independence in the 21st century with the help of the United Nations . However, while South Sudan sank into years of civil war , East Timor itself is now sending personnel for UN peacekeeping forces, including in South Sudan to UNMISS .
In October 2011 and December 2013, East Timor’s Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão visited South Sudan with a delegation.

The two countries do not have any diplomatic missions in the other country.

For 2018, the East Timor Statistics Office does not indicate any trade relations between East Timor and South Sudan.
