The relations between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and East Timor describe the intergovernmental relationship between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and East Timor .

history

The Democratic Republic of the Congo and East Timor established diplomatic relations on November 7, 2006. Both are founding members of the g7 + states through which numerous contacts between the two states took place. As part of g7 + conferences, Olivier Kamitatu , Minister for National Planning of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, visited East Timor in 2010 and 2011 in his role as Vice-Chair of the g7 +. East Timor’s Planning Minister Xanana Gusmão visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2015.

Both states also belong to the Movement of Non-Aligned States , the AKP Group and the Group of 77 .

East Timor participated in the United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO).

The two countries do not have any diplomatic missions in the other country.

Entry requirements

Citizens from one of the two countries require a visa to enter the other country.

For 2018, the East Timor’s Statistical Office does not indicate any trade relations between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and East Timor.
