The Ghanaian-East Timorese relations describe the intergovernmental relationship between Ghana and East Timor .

history

Ghana participated with personnel in the United Nations Assistance Mission in East Timor (UNMISET).

The association of G7 + countries , in which East Timor plays a leading role, has its origins in the Third High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Accra (Ghana) in 2008, where several countries made themselves available as model countries for a study on fragile states. Ghana is not a member of the g7 +.

The two countries do not have any diplomatic missions in the other country. The Ghanaian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur ( Malaysia ) is also responsible for East Timor. Ghana's current ambassador Akua Senkyiwa Ahenkora presented her accreditation to East Timor's President Francisco Guterres on February 28, 2019 .

For 2018, the East Timor Statistics Office does not indicate any trade relations between Ghana and East Timor.
