Nikfer (formerly Büyükkonak and Konak ) is a small town in the district of Tavas in the Turkish province of Denizli . Nikfer is located about 75 km south of the provincial capital Denizli and 25 km southeast of Tavas. According to the last census, Nikfer had 2,933 inhabitants (as of December 2010).

The administrative area of ​​Nikfer is divided into four districts , Barza Mahallesi , Çarşı Mahallesi , Cumhuriyet Mahallesi and Fernik Mahallesi , each of which is administered by a Muhtar .

The majority of the population is employed in agriculture . The Bozdağ ski area , which belongs to Nikfer, is of particular tourist and economic importance for the small town.
