Niklas Osterloh (born March 2, 1989 ) is a German actor .

Life

Osterloh grew up in Lübeck ; He made his first acting experiences in the school theater . From 2006 to 2009 he completed an acting training at the School for Drama Hamburg , which he graduated with an acting diploma in 2009. He passed his diploma with distinction. He also attended several acting workshops, among others with Michael Bogdanov and Andreas Kriegenburg .

During his training he played his first small roles in the theater; so he had appearances with the ensemble of the Hamburg School of Drama at the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus (2008 in After the Rain by Sergi Belbel ). He played at the Altona Theater (2008 in Das kleine Gespenst ), at the Thalia Theater (2009 in Radio Rhapsody by Anja Hilling , director: Andreas Kriegenburg) and at the Hamburger Kammerspiele (2010 in When Santa Claus fell from the sky ). In 2009/2010 he took on the role of the bandit Razmann in a touring production of Friedrich Schiller's play Die Räuber .

Since 2008 Osterloh has worked regularly in film and television productions; He also played leading and supporting roles in several short films .

Directed by Niki Stein , he was in a supporting role in his television film Until nothing remains to be seen. Under Stein's direction, he played the role of Private Otto, who was interned in a prison camp on the North Sea after the Second World War , in Stein's television film Love Your Feind . As part of the ARD fairy tale remakes, he played the romantic Prince Erik in the fairy tale film Sleeping Beauty in 2009 .

He also had episode roles in the ZDF television series Notruf Hafenkante and Da geht Kalle . ZDF also cast Osterloh in the role of journalist Patrick Field in the Katie Fforde film adaptation To the Devil with David (2011).

From January 17 (episode 1421) to August 27, 2013 (episode 1560), Osterloh played the role of Robin Detjen in the ARD -Telenovela Rote Rosen . In August 2014, he returns to the series for 30 episodes.

Osterloh lives in Hamburg and Berlin / Potsdam.
