Noithausen is a small, north-eastern district of Grevenbroich in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rhine district of Neuss .

location

Noithausen is located immediately north of the Orken district . The town is bounded by a railway line to the east and south. The A 46 motorway runs to the north .

history

The first written mention as Noythusen comes from February 21, 1295 . Since the Middle Ages Noithausen belonged to the Teutonic Order rule of Elsen. In 1794 the place was occupied by French troops. Noithausen came to the Département de la Roer . In 1815 Noithausen became Prussian and since 1816 was part of the Grevenbroich district in the Düsseldorf administrative district.

The castle Noithausen came off. The Noithausen manor dates back to the 18th century.
