On December 12, 1908, Fritz Nordmann founded a beer publishing house in Twistringen and brought beer to his customers by means of horse-drawn carts . After the First World War, in which the company founder was taken prisoner of war, the Nordmann family moved to Wildeshausen. Here she leased the building of the former supplier Schloss Wittekind . Beers from the Hemelinger Actien brewery were sold . In 1924 Fritz Nordmann II, son of the company founder, joined the company. The business developed. A few years later, Fritz Nordmann II founded his own company in which he sold Hältinger beer. In 1926 the parent company was founded in Sögestraße and the first bottling plant for soft drinks was purchased. During the Second World War, Fritz Nordmann II was taken prisoner, but the company continued to operate despite great difficulties. After Fritz Nordmann II returned, the two companies were merged.

Through a concession agreement of Sinalco AG 1950 Nordmann was able to expand the sales area, from 1951, the company also gave marquees. In 1957 the cooperation with the König-Brauerei , Dortmunder Union-Brauerei and Apollinaris , which still exists today, began , and foreign beers, fruit juices and natural juices were added to the range. In 1959 a modern lemonade filling plant was purchased. In 1970, Nordmann began the beverage retail business with the opening of the first specialist beverage market (Zisch). In 2008, around 60 Zisch markets in northern Germany were operated partly independently and partly as a franchise .

In 1973 the parent company moved to Bargloyer Weg in Wildeshausen. In 1987 Nordmann acquired the traditional company Beckröge in Bremen and in 1989 the Haake-Beck branch in Vechta . After the reunification in the GDR , the Nordmann company became heavily involved in eastern Germany. In 1990 companies were founded in Samtens (March 19, 1990) and Pasewalk (August 1, 1990) and the Rolinck branch in Oldenburg was taken over. In 1991 the Stralsund brewery and the Stralsund Mineralbrunnen were taken over in Stralsund, thereby intensifying the development of further in-house products.

In 1995 the Alter Fritz restaurants were opened at the Stralsund location and in Greifswald . In 1998 another old Fritz followed in Rostock and the takeover of the Bier-Klein company from Bremen. In 2000 the old brewery in Stralsund was opened as an event location. In 2001 the company Quandt and in 2003 the company Jürgen Quandt Getränke were taken over. Also in 2001 the company opened a museum on the company's history. In 2008 the Nordmann company celebrated its 100th anniversary.

The group of companies was disentangled in 2010: Jürgen Nordmann founded Kontor N Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH as a holding company for the previous parts of the company Beckröge, Störtebeker, Logipack and the system catering operator Raum & Gast , based in Bremen.

In 2011, the Zisch specialist beverage chain was partially converted into Getränke Partner Abholmärkte (GP). In 2011, the Nordmann Group also acquired a stake in GAM Partner GmbH in Töging a. Inn. 1200 stores are currently organized in the beverage partner (GP) system. A wholesale platform was developed from Zisch.

In 2016, the system businesses (NEV, NGV, GP C&C) were spun off as Team Beverage AG while retaining a majority stake ; In 2017, Transgourmet Germany took over the majority.
