Norma González
Norma González Camilde (born August 11, 1982 in Santander de Quilichao , Cauca ) is a Colombian athlete who took part in two Olympic Games.
Athletic career
Norma González is multiple Colombian champion in the 400 meter run , in 2009 she improved her personal best on this route to 51.86 seconds. In 1999 she won the Pan American Youth Championships and took third place at the Youth World Championships. In 2000, she also won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships, but was eliminated in the preliminary run at the Olympic Games . At the 2004 Olympic Games she only competed with the 4 x 100 meter relay , but was eliminated again in the preliminary run. At the 2005 World Championships , the Colombian sprint relay reached the final. In 43.07 seconds, Melisa Murillo , Felipa Palacios , Darlenis Obregón and Norma González took sixth place. In 2006 González won the 400-meter course at the Ibero-American Championships. At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, she reached the semifinals over 400 meters. With the season she reached the finals and took eighth place there.
At a height of 1.72 meters, her competition weight is 53 kilograms.
