Novapool

novapool was the name of a group of companies that were active in the field of film and theater. These included the film production company novapool production , the novapool artists company , which realized both theater and film productions and supervised artists, and the film distributor novapool pictures .

The novapool production GmbH had to file for insolvency at the Erfurt district court in summer 2009 after two commissioned productions were not paid for by the client Peter Stein Verlag. On June 24, 2011, the Charlottenburg District Court dissolved the company.

novapool was founded in 2000 with the slogan "Art needs passion, imagination and responsibility. We create culture!" founded by the producers Alexander Deibel, Maik Plewnia and Steffen T. Sengebusch in Weimar. novapool should give artists of different genres a platform and build a bridge between economy and autonomy. Balancing the freedom of art and the needs of the market is one of the main focuses of the company's orientation. Novapool has made a name for itself with theater, dance and music projects. There were also exhibition projects and art presentations.
