Steffen Sengebusch

Steffen T. Sengebusch (* 1971 on Rügen ) is a German film and theater producer.

Life

Sengebusch grew up on the island of Rügen , he studied music theater / singing in Weimar and later German and political science at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena . He worked as an author, gallery owner and art dealer. In 1995 he became a producer at the Kunstfest Weimar under artistic director Bernd Kauffmann , and later a producer at Weimar 1999 - Kulturstadt Europäische GmbH. After the city of culture year 1999, Sengebusch founded the company novapool together with Alexander Deibel and Maik Plewnia in Weimar, which realized productions in the field of film, theater, music and dance and a selected number of artists, such as B. represented by Klaus Maria Brandauer . In 2006 he and his partners founded the film distributor novapool pictures. In 2011 novapool was dissolved. Sengebusch lives in Berlin .
