The film shows Nowitzki's life as an athlete - from his discovery to the 2011 NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks . The viewer gets an insight into the world of US professional sport.

criticism

The film-dienst described the film as “documented with routine narration” based on “carefully researched archive material”. However, it was criticized that the sport itself remained a "marginal note", as well as "setbacks and questionable chapters in Nowitzki's career".
