Hüseyin Nusret Taşdeler (born October 3, 1951 in Samsun ) is a former Turkish general of the army (Türk Kara Kuvvetleri) , who was among other things commander of the Armed Forces Academies ( TSK Harp Akademileri Komutanlığı) between 2009 and 2010 and commander of the Aegean Army (Ege Ordusu) was.

Life

Training to become an officer

Promotion to general and Ergenekon conspiracy

He then took over from General Hasan Aksay the post of Commander of the Armed Forces Academies ( TSK Harp Akademileri Komutanlığı) and remained in this position until he was replaced by General Bilgin Balanlı on August 30, 2010. In the course of the alleged Ergenekon conspiracy, Taşdeler was sentenced to life imprisonment on August 5, 2013 by the 13th High Criminal Court (13th Ağır Ceza Mahkemesi) in Istanbul together with the former generals İlker Başbuğ , Hasan Iğsız and Hurşit Tolon . After the convictions of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey were overturned on March 10, 2014, he was released from custody.

Taşdeler is married to Süeda Taşdeler and has one child.
