OFC Champions League 2010/11
The OFC Champions League 2010/11 was the tenth edition of an oceanic championship competition for club teams in football and took place from October 23, 2010 to April 17, 2011, as in the previous season, with eight clubs from seven countries. As in the previous year, the teams came from Fiji , New Zealand , New Caledonia , Papua New Guinea , the Solomon Islands , Tahiti and Vanuatu . Hekari United FC from Papua New Guinea qualified as defending champions and current champions of his country. The remaining seven teams qualified based on their placements in their domestic league. Although New Zealand did not provide the defending champions, it was allowed to send two teams to the competition. There was no qualifying round this season. The eight clubs played the participants in the finals in two groups with three home and three away games.
The winning Auckland City FC qualified for the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup in Japan .
