Oberschiltern is a district of the city of Dorfen in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding . The hamlet is about three kilometers southeast of Dorfen.

On July 1, 1972, Oberschiltern was incorporated as part of the formerly independent municipality of Schiltern zu Dorfen.
