The village of Hampersdorf (175 inhabitants) is part of the town of Dorfen in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding . It is almost in the middle of the municipality. The place came with the municipality of Hausmehring in 1972 to the city of Dorfen.

history

The place was first mentioned in 865 in connection with a person named Humperht (from whom the place name is derived). In 957/972 the place name Humplassung village is mentioned as a name for a noble family. The Duke Surbar of 1228/42 lists the office of Hampersdorf in the Dorfen court. How long the office existed is not clear from the available sources. During the administrative division of the Kingdom of Bavaria , which was founded in 1806, to cope with the integration of the newly acquired territories in 1808 and the municipal edict of May 17, 1818, Hampersdorf was initially awarded to the Erding district court . In 1858 the place came with the community Hausmehring to the newly created district court Dorfen.

During the municipal reform in 1971/72, Hausmehring (with Hampersdorf) was added to the city of Dorfen.

The building was erected at the beginning of the 16th century in the late Gothic style. The church is a 3-bay nave and a non-retracted 1-bay choir with a polygonal end. In 1720 the church was slightly changed on the outside (window) and on the inside (longhouse stab cap barrel), while the tower also received its early Rococo-looking late baroque appearance. The high altar was made in the neo-Gothic style in 1868, with the painting (handing over the keys to Petrus) by Johann Albrecht from Munich.

A little less than a kilometer to the northeast, in the upper Katzbachtal, lies the Streuweiler Kleinkatzbach with its graceful branch church of St. Andreas . Around 1663–65, today's church was built in high baroque style in place of a dilapidated wooden chapel, to which there was a pilgrimage in the 16th century . The church has an octagon between the west gallery and the choir under the common roof. In 1715, the St. Andreas high altar and a Maria-Hilf altar were built .
