Oded Fehr
Oded Fehr ( Hebrew עודד פהר; Born November 23, 1970 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa , Israel ) is an Israeli actor .
Life
Oded Fehr's father is German , his mother is of Spanish - Danish descent. He served in the Israeli Navy for three years . Together with his father, he ran a marketing and telecommunications company in Frankfurt am Main for two years and also worked as a security officer for the airline El Al . That is why Fehr speaks not only English and his native Hebrew, but also partly German .
Acting career
In Frankfurt he worked briefly in an acting group before he went to London to train as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School . In 1998 he made his film debut in Killer Net .
After his first supporting role in 1999 as Ardeth Bay in The Mummy, he worked in the same year, also in a supporting role, on the side of Rob Schneider in Rent-a-Man . In 2001 the sequel The Mummy Returns followed , in which he again played Ardeth Bay. He played Carlos Olivera in the Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004) and Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) films based on the Resident Evil video game series , as well as in flashbacks in Resident Evil: Retribution (2012).
Private
Oded Fehr has been married to the US film producer Rhonda Tollefson since 2000 . The couple has three children; two girls and a boy.
