course

The Ohebach rises and runs in the northeast part of the Schwalm-Eder district in the Melsunger Bergland, part of the Fulda-Werra Bergland . Its source lies below the mountain saddle ( 491.2  m above sea  level ) between the Himmelsberg ( 563.7  m ) in the southeast and Breiten Stein ( 533.2  m ) in the west-northwest, northeast of Günsterode , a north-eastern district of Melsungen . It is located in a wooded area just under 200 m southwest of a parking lot on Landesstraße  3147 ( Hessisch Lichtenau - Günsterode - Kirchhof - Melsungen) at an altitude of just under 460  m .

The Ohebach, which runs mainly south-west and always along the L 3147 - sometimes this and sometimes beyond it - initially flows through the aggravation into which the Glasebach on the left and then the Spellsbach on the right flow to Günsterode. In town, the Laudenbach flows from the left and the Sinselbach flows into the Ohebach from the right . Shortly after flowing through the village open the respective right-hand sucking Bach and some below it the Staatsebach a.

Finally, the Ohebach opens just above the village cemetery (east-northeast area of Melsungen) of about 130 m on the south 248.9  m branch lying height of the upwardly to the village Kehrenbach leading County Road  141 of the L 3147 to approximately 245  m height in the Fulda influx Kehrenbach.
