Olek Krupa
Olek Krupa ( Aleksander Krupa ; born March 18, 1947 in Rybnik , Silesian Voivodeship , Poland ) is a Polish actor .
Life
Krupa studied acting at the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theater Academy in Warsaw .
After a first trip to the USA in 1975, he returned to his homeland, where he performed at the Teatr Scena STU in Krakow . After another trip to the USA in 1981 he appeared under the direction of Joe Papps in plays such as My Uncle Sam , A Bright Room Called Day , American Notes and Soapy Smith .
In 1986 he made his American cinema debut in Adrian Lyne's drama 9½ weeks . Repeatedly he played Russian or Slavic characters, often in villain roles.
In addition to his work for film and television, Krupa continued to appear in the theater. He took on roles in the plays The Yellow House , Energumen , Division Street , Ubu , The Tower of Evil , The Irresistible Rise of Arturo Ui and in Country Doctor .
Filmmaker and fashion designer Julia Ain-Krupa emerged from the relationship with artist Noa Ain.
