In his senior season (2001/02) with the Golden Eagles in the US college league, he averaged 7.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
Nnamaka began his professional career in Germany with Telekom Baskets Bonn . In Bonn Nnamaka quickly became a crowd favorite, whose qualities lay particularly in defense. In the 2004/05 season, Nnamaka had his best playing time for Bonn, averaging 9.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. At the end of the season, Telekom Baskets and Nnamaka could not agree on a further collaboration.
For the 2005/06 season, Nnamaka therefore moved to Italy for the first division club Orlandina Basket . In the following four seasons Nnamaka joined the Italian second division Basket Club Ferrara , with whom he celebrated promotion to Serie A in 2008 . Even with this team, Nnamaka made it to the top division, but they got down again in the following season.
After a disappointing sporting season, Nnamaka decided to return home. From 2012 he ran for Uppsala Basket in the Swedish basket league . Following the 2014/15 season, in which he and his team were Swedish runners-up, he announced the end of his competitive sports career.
