The Leipzig Olympic Training Center is a cross-sport support and service facility for top-class sport for national team athletes and their coaches.

history

The OSP Leipzig was founded by the Olympiastützpunkt Leipzig eV . On September 2, 1992, a support association of the OSP Leipzig was founded. The OSP is currently one of 18 German Olympic training centers .

The headquarters of the Olympic base is at Sportforum 10 in Leipzig .

Locations and sports

The OSP Leipzig currently has the following training locations: the Arena Leipzig , three boathouses (Bootshaus Burghausen, Bootshaus Klingerweg, Bootshaus Pistorisstraße), a fencing hall, a hockey stadium, the judo hall in the north, the Markkleeberg canoe park, the athletics hall in the north, the Leipzig cycling track , one Wrestling hall, the Neiden shooting range, a diving hall, the Leplaystrasse gym, the university swimming pool and a volleyball hall.

The OSP Leipzig offers holistic sports medicine, physiotherapy, training science, sports psychology and social support for the national team athletes.

Elite school of sport

The Landesgymnasium für Sport Leipzig is connected to the Olympic base as an elite school of sport .
