The Olympiastützpunkt Sachsen-Anhalt is a cross-disciplinary support and service facility for top-class sport for national team athletes and their coaches.

history

The OSP Saxony-Anhalt was founded in 1992. The legal sponsor of the Olympic base is the sponsoring association of the Olympic base in Saxony-Anhalt, founded on April 28, 1992.

Outline and structure

The OSP sports complexes are located in Halle and Magdeburg . Federal cadre athletes (ABC cadres) from several Olympic sports are looked after by the OSP Saxony-Anhalt.

The OSP Saxony-Anhalt offers a holistic, sports medicine, physiotherapy, training science, sports psychology and social support program for all national team athletes. The sports high school Halle / Saale and the sports high school Magdeburg are connected to the locations of the Olympic base as elite schools of sport .
