The Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Olympic Training Center has been a cross-disciplinary support and service facility for top-class sport for national team athletes and their coaches since 1988 .

history

The OSP Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein was founded on January 15, 1988. In 2013 the 25th anniversary of the Olympic base was celebrated. It is currently one of 18 German Olympic training centers .

Locations

The headquarters of the Olympic base are located on the grounds of the Dulsberg sports park in Hamburg . Further sports centers exist in Kiel at the Olympic Center in Kiel-Schilksee and in Ratzeburg at the Rowing Academy .

Sports and areas of focus

About 300 federal cadre athletes (ABC cadres) from 25 Olympic sports are looked after by the OSP Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein.

The OSP Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein offers all national team athletes a holistic, sports medicine, physiotherapy, training science, sports psychology and social support program.

Elite school of sport

The comprehensive school Alter Teichweg Hamburg has been connected to the Olympic base since 2006 as an elite sports school .
