The men's standing triple jump at the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis was held on September 3, 1904 at Francis Field . This competition was an Olympic discipline for the second and last time in 1904.
As in many other disciplines, there was a triple win for the United States. Olympic champion was the standing jump specialist Ray Ewry , Charles King won the silver medal, Joseph Stadler came third.

In this competition, Ray Ewry won his sixth gold medal. At the Olympic Games in 1900 , just like here in St. Louis, he had won all three standing jumping disciplines. He won the triple jump here with a lead of almost forty centimeters. He only missed his own Olympic record by four centimeters - with Kluge it is three centimeters. The silver medal went to Charles King - in some sources also referred to as Con King . He also took second place in the standing long jump . Joseph Stadler, silver medalist in the standing vault , was third ahead of Garrett Serviss, second in the high jump with a run-up.
