The men's Alpine Combination at the 1948 Winter Olympics was held in the Corviglia ski area from February 2nd to 4th . The competition consisted of a downhill run and two slalom runs . For the downhill run, the times of the downhill race , which took place on February 2nd, were counted. The slalom runs were held on February 4th. The times were converted into points in all three runs.
The Olympic champion was the Frenchman Henri Oreiller , who had already won the downhill race. The Swiss Karl Molitor , who won bronze in the downhill, was able to improve to silver and Oreiller's compatriot James Couttet won bronze.
