The men's 15 km mass start race in biathlon at the 2006 Winter Olympics was held on February 25, 2006 at 10:00 in the Centro Olimpico Biathlon in Cesana Torinese . It was the first mass start race at the Winter Olympics. Michael Greis from Germany won the gold medal . The silver medal went to Tomasz Sikora from Poland and the bronze went to the Norwegian Ole Einar Bjørndalen .
