The list of monasteries is a list of existing and former monasteries , sorted by religious community , country and location. The list is not complete. In the case of a new entry, you are asked to provide the place, date of establishment and cancellation as well as any prior or subsequent use in key words. Monasteries that were used by different orders at different times should be noted with the appropriate information under each of the respective orders.
