Oscar Möller (born January 22, 1989 in Spånga ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Skellefteå AIK in the Svenska Hockeyligan since 2011 .
Career
Oscar Möller began his career as a hockey player in his Swedish homeland, where he was active in the youth division of Spånga Hockey and Djurgårdens IF . In the summer of 2006, the attacker moved to the Chilliwack Bruins , for whom he played in the Western Hockey League for two years . During this time, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2007 in the second round as a total of 52 players by the Los Angeles Kings . After the Swede was already on the ice in two playoff games in the 2007/08 season for the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League , Möller completed a total of 40 games for Los in his first season in the National Hockey League in the 2008/09 season Angeles, in which he scored 15 points scorer. In the following two seasons he was both for the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL and for the Manchester Monarchs from the AHL on the ice and rose to the 2010/11 season as assistant captain in the team of the Monarchs. In May 2011 he decided to return to Sweden and signed a two-year contract with Skellefteå AIK , which was extended by four years in February 2013. During this time he was twice Swedish champion and once runner- up with the AIK .
In July 2014 Möller was loaned from AIK to Ak Bars Kazan from the Continental Hockey League and returned to Skellefteå AIK after two years and over 140 KHL games.
International
For Sweden , Möller took part in the U18 Junior World Championships in 2007 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2008 and 2009 .
