Osiris St. Brown

Osiris Adrian Amon-Ra J. St. Brown (born April 28, 1998 in Placentia , California ) is a German - American American football player on the position of wide receiver . He has been playing college football for Stanford University since 2017 .

Early years

St. Brown attended a French school in Anaheim for his first six years at school. After moving to Paris in 2009, he went to a public school. During the summer vacation, St. Brown was in his mother's hometown, Leverkusen . Here he also attended the Bayer Leverkusen football school. St. Brown also continued with football and was proposed for the U19 national American football team. With this he became U19 American Football Vice European Champion in 2015. As a result, he made himself known in US football promotion programs, which he got a place at the Mater Dei High School .

St. Brown played there for the Mater Dei Monarchs . In his first season with the team, he scored 884 yards and 12 touchdowns in 43 passes . As a senior, he reached 62 pass catches 1127 yards and 19 touchdowns. In 2016 he was voted Most Valuable Player in the Trinity League .

H. one of the top 300 players of his year and a likely impact player on his college team. 247Sports rated him the 27 best wide receivers and 176 best players of his year. Also Scout.com and Rivals.com valued him as a four-star player and as one of the best 300 players in his class. ESPN also called him a four-star player, an excellent recruit who has the potential to play dominantly.

St. Brown received 21 football scholarship offers: Stanford , Arizona State , Boise State , California , Colorado , Illinois , Kentucky , Maryland , Michigan , Michigan State , Miami , Northwestern , Notre Dame , Oregon , Texas Tech , USC , UCLA , Utah , Vanderbilt , Washington and Washington State .

St. Brown favored Stanford and Notre Dame. He finally decided against Notre Dame, where his brother played, and for Stanford, because he thought the program of his preferred degree in computer science was better there.

In 2017 he went to Stanford University . There he plays for the Stanford Cardinal in the NCAA Division I. In the first season, however, he fell out completely due to a foot injury and therefore took a Redshirt year . In his second season as a sophomore, he made 8 passes for 204 yards and one touchdown. In the following season he was able to catch 27 passes and get 263 receiving yards. He could also run for 12 yards twice.

His father, John Brown , is a bodybuilder who became Mr. Universe in 1980 and 1981 . His mother Miriam is German and was born in Leverkusen . Osiris has two brothers, the elder Equanimeous and the younger Amon-Ra , who both play American football. Equanimeous plays for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL) and Amon-Ra plays for the University of Southern California .
