Ostroh , German until 1948 Seeberg is a district of the Poustka municipality in the Czech Republic .

Geographical location

Ostroh is five kilometers northwest of Františkovy Lázně . The local situation is the stream Slatinný Potok ( Seebach ) in the Eger Basin .

Ostroh forms a cadastral district. The settlement Drahov ( Trogau ) belongs to the district Ostroh .

history

Seeberg was first mentioned in a document in 1275. After the abolition of patrimonial Seeberg, with the districts of Oed and Trogau, formed a municipality in the judicial district of Eger and district of Eger from 1850 . In 1889, a devastating flood of the Seebach in Seeberg tore away all five mills and the houses on the brook. Oed became self-employed in 1922. In 1948 the community of Seeberg was renamed Ostroh .

Incorporations

In 1960 Ostroh was incorporated into Poustka , and in 1976 it was incorporated into Františkovy Lázně . Since January 1st 1992 Ostroh has belonged again to the Poustka municipality.
