Otto Bohl

Otto Bohl (born May 8, 1885 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein , † October 24, 1969 in Illertissen ) was a German administrative lawyer and politician of the BVP .

Bohl studied law at the universities of Heidelberg and Munich and entered the Bavarian civil service in 1912. Among other things, he worked at the Illertissen District Office and in the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Interior. He was a member of the BVP, for which he became Lord Mayor of Augsburg in January 1930 . On May 31, 1933, he was deposed by the National Socialists. Afterwards he was head of the state bath administration in Bad Kissingen and from 1948 to 1958 district administrator of the then district Illertissen .

In the Augsburg district of Pfersee , the Bürgermeister-Bohl-Strasse was named after him.

Since 1904 he was a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Aenania Munich .
