Career

Dănănae began his career in 2003 at CSM Reșița when he was brought into the first team there. In its first year, the club had to relegate from the second division . The full-back then moved to the then first division club FC Universitatea Craiova in 2004 . There he was also relegated in his first year , the club played a year later in the second division.

There the promotion could be made, and in Dănănaes second first division season and in the third , ninth place could be achieved. The 2008/09 season was the most successful of the full-back in Craiova so far: The club finished seventh and barely missed the European Cup positions , as they were left behind in the direct duels against the sixth Steaua Bucharest . At the end of the 2010/11 season he had to relegate his team to League II . He left Craiova and moved to Tom Tomsk in the Russian Premier League . He was rarely used there and returned to Romania at the beginning of 2012, where he signed on with record champions Steaua Bucharest. In the second half of the 2011/12 season, however, he was only used once. After his contract ended in 2012, he was without a club for six months before CS Turnu Severin signed him during the winter break. After the 2012/13 season , he had to relegate with his new club. Then moved to Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. There he only made ten appearances in the 2013/14 season and often found himself on the bench. In summer 2014 he returned to Romania, where he joined CSU Craiova .

In the summer of 2015, his contract in Craiova was not renewed. Dănănae had to wait more than a year before he found a new club with second division CSM Metalul Reșița in September 2016 .

National team

After the successful 2008/09 season, he was able to celebrate his debut in the Romanian national team in autumn 2009 . In the friendly against Hungary , Dănănae played 39 minutes before being substituted for Vasile Maftei . Until August 2010, national coach Răzvan Lucescu used him at irregular intervals.
