Pär Ericsson (born July 21, 1988 in Karlstad ) is a Swedish football player . The striker , who has played in Sweden and Belgium in his career so far , made his Allsvenskan debut in 2009 .

Career

Ericsson comes from the youth of the former second division club Deje IK . In 2004 he moved to the junior division of Carlstad United BK , for which he later made his debut in the third division Division 1 in the adult division . The up-and-coming talent quickly made a name for itself. Courted by various clubs, he decided in July 2008 to move to GAIS in Allsvenskan at the beginning of 2009 . Since his contract expired at the end of the year and the club had hoped for a transfer fee in excess of the training compensation through a sale in the summer , he was then suspended from gaming. The coaches then resigned in protest. A few days later he finally switched to the second-rate Superettan on loan to Degerfors IF , which was in the relegation battle, until the end of the season . By the end of the season, he played 15 games this season for the new club, despite his six goals this season, the club missed relegation.

In preparation for the 2009 season , Ericsson won a regular position with his new employer GAIS. In his first division debut on the occasion of a 5-1 success in the local derby against Örgryte IS , he was one of the goalscorers. Under coach Alexander Axén he played all 30 games of the season, with the exception of two games he was in the starting lineup, and scored six times during the season. He also played his way into the Swedish U-21 national team . After only one season, he changed clubs within the league and joined local rivals IFK Göteborg . He signed a four-year contract with his new club, and his two youth clubs received a portion of the transfer fee as additional training compensation. At his new club, however, he could not prevail decisively - 13 games in his first season, four games in the first half of his second season. The club then loaned him to league rivals Mjällby AIF in the second half of the 2011 season . By the end of the season he had four goals in eleven games. In view of the competitive situation in the offensive at IFK Göteborg around Tobias Hysén , Robin Söder , Hannes Stiller , Stefan Selakovic and Daniel Sobralense , the clubs agreed on a loan deal for the following season in mid-February 2012, which will extend to the end of the 2012 season and from the main sponsor of the club is funded. With 13 goals this season he placed on the one hand in the front of the goalscorer list and on the other hand was a guarantee for relegation. Nevertheless, he stayed on for another year at the club, for which he was again one of the club's best internal goalscorers with eight goals this season.

In early 2014, Ericsson joined the Belgian club RAEC Mons , where he signed a contract that was valid until the end of the season with the option of an extension of one season. Here, however, he did not get beyond the role of a supplementary player, only in four of his seven season appearances he was in the starting line-up and remained without a goal. Shortly after the end of the season, he agreed with Kalmar FF to return to Sweden and signed a contract that ran until the end of 2016. However, his stay here was unsuccessful, in the remaining phase of the 2014 season he made 15 appearances, seven of them as a substitute. In the first half of the following season he played only eight first division games. The club then loaned him to league rivals Örebro SK from the end of July 2015 . After 13 appearances until the end of the season, he finished the season with the club in ninth place in the table.

After Ericsson had played one more game as a substitute in the first half of the 2016 season for Kalmar FF, the player and club terminated their contract in June. He was then without a club for a short time, at the end of July the first division club Jönköpings Södra IF signed him until the end of 2018.
