The Pańszczyckie Czuby are a pair of peaks Skrajna Pańszczycka Czuba and Zadnia Pańszczycka Czuba in the Polish High Tatras at 2174 meters in the Grań Żółtej Turni massif . The border between the municipalities of Zakopane in the south and Poronin runs on the summit , specifically the district of Murzasichle in the north, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in the Powiat Tatrzański district .
Location and surroundings
Below the peaks are the valleys Dolina Pańszczyca in the north and Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa in the south.
From the summit skrajny grenade in the West are Pańszczyckie Czuby through the mountain pass Pańszczycka Przełączka Wyżnia and from the summit Wierch pod Fajki the east by the mountain pass Pańszczycka Przełęcz separately.
etymology
The Polish name Pańszczyckie Czuby can be translated as Pańszczyca Koppen . The name comes from the nearby Dolina Pańszczyca valley.
Flora and fauna
Despite their height, the Pańszczyckie Czuby have a colorful flora and fauna. Numerous plant species occur, especially high alpine flowers and grasses. In addition to insects, molluscs and birds of prey, bears, marmots and chamois also visit the peaks.
tourism
The Pańszczyckie Czuby are popular with climbers. However, there is no hiking trail leading to the summit. The Schronisko PTTK Murowaniec mountain hut is a suitable starting point for an ascent from the valleys .
