The men's javelin at the 2011 Pan American Games took place on October 28, 2011 at the Telmex Athletics Stadium in Guadalajara .

15 athletes from twelve countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Guillermo Martínez with 87.20, which was also a new record for the Pan American Games. Silver went to Cyrus Hostetler with 82.24 m and Braian Toledo secured the bronze medal with 79.53 m.
