The men's 1500 meter run at the 2011 Pan American Games took place on October 26, 2011 at the Telmex Athletics Stadium in Guadalajara .

14 athletes from nine countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Leandro de Oliveira after 3: 54.44 min, silver went to Byron Piedra with 3: 54.45 min and the bronze medal went to Eduar Villanueva with 3: 54.06 min.
