The men's marathon at the 2011 Pan American Games took place in Guadalajara on October 30, 2011 .

21 athletes from 14 countries took part in the competition. The gold medal was won by Solonei da Silva after 2:15:37 h, silver went to Diego Colorado with 2:17:13 h and the bronze medal was secured by Juan Carlos Cardona with 2:18:20 h.
