Papa Kouli Diop (born March 19, 1986 in Kaolack ) is a Senegalese football player who plays for SD Eibar in the Spanish Primera División .

Player career

Papa Kouli Diop started his career as a footballer at the French first division club Stade Rennes . There he played in the youth group from 2004 to 2006. He played his first professional game on matchday 1 of the 2006/07 season when Rennes beat 2-1 against Lille OSC . Nevertheless, he left the club and went to the second division FC Tours . There he could not prevail, so that in January 2008 he signed a contract with the Spanish second division club Gimnàstic de Tarragona . He played his first game for the Catalans on February 24, 2008 in a 1-1 draw at Polideportivo Ejido .
